🚨 Weekly Highlights 🚨
David Beckham In The Mix
It feels like every big-name athlete is trying to get into the NFT game now. David Beckham just launched a partnership with DigitalBits - hard to know what that partnership totally entails besides a pretty promo vid and some NFTs being minted on the DigitalBits blockchain.
Snoop and Wiz Hotboxing with the Apes
We know Snoop’s big in the NFT space (he’s claimed to be the esteemed NFT collector Cozomo de' Medici). Now Wiz is joining too, and they’re collabbing to make a 8 special songs available as NFTs only purchasable with ApeCoin, one of which is dedicated as the theme song of Bored Apes Yacht Club. It’s only fitting since both of them have rare Bored Apes that they use as their Twitter pfp’s.
F1 and Crypto Appear To Be A Match Made In Heaven
F1 Racing has seen a sudden influx of money coming in from crypto sponsors. It makes total sense, both crypto and F1 have large international supporters, F1 is a sport with independently contracted racers, and there’s a lot more space to place advertisements on a car than on a jersey. It’ll be exciting to see what other sports crypto makes waves in, we’re only going to see more over time.
